Fall and Winter 2023 – 2024

TCBOOST SPEED PROGRAM TRACK ATHLETE ADD – ON

This 60-minute program is a track athlete only speed/skill focused group that may be added on to the M/W or T/Th High School and Junior High training groups or taken on its own. This add-on to the training groups will allow the track athletes in our program the opportunity to work on track specific needs, such as: block starts, hurdle and jump technique, and additional plyo/linear speed progressions, that won’t be performed during the week.  The bulk of the speed, mechanics, and power development is designed to occur within the M/W or Tu/Th High School and Junior High training groups.

TCBOOST TRACK & FIELD DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM

TRACK PROGRAM MISSION: Our mission is to make significant, positive and life changing impacts in every single athlete that we are fortunate to have as part of our program.

YEAR-ROUND TRACK TRAINING OPPORTUNITIES

Fall/Early Winter:   TCBOOST offers 2-3x/week training throughout the fall at our cutting edge 10,000 square foot facility in Northbrook which includes a 60 yard Mondo sprint track and a 1080 SPRINT resisted and overspeed sprint machine.  This a time to continue to develop mechanics and speed and jump abilities without the higher volume of training and competing that generally takes place during the HS track season.  The sessions are 90 minutes in length and include both speed development, power training and strength work to help support the improvements and growth as a sprinter and/or jumper.

Spring:  This is usually the time that HS athletes will be competing with their HS teams, but we are available to support our athletes with periodic mechanics tune ups as well as additional recovery sessions, which will involve some targeted mobility, low impact flushing strength work and use of our various recovery tools, including Theraguns, Normatech Compression Gear and Power Plate Vibration Platforms.

FOUNDATIONS OF THE PROGRAM:

  • Supportive, caring and family atmosphere
  • Excellence and Experience with the latest in speed development, athletic performance and Track & Field training/coaching.
  • Focus on growth: Mechanics, speed, strength, power, skill, mindset, character and health
  • Quality over quantity. We seek to make BIG impacts in a small and focused group of  athletes rather than having BIG groups of athletes with minimal impact.
  • Focus on process
  • Make new friends and have fun in a relaxed and fun environment, where athletes can be serious about improvement and growth while minimizing extrinsic stress.
